Mog Transformer
MOG Transformer, also known as a Magnetic Oil Level Gauge (MOG) or Transformer Oil Level Indicator, is an essential transformer accessory used to continuously monitor the insulating oil level inside the conservator tank of oil-filled transformers. Maintaining the correct transformer oil level is important for effective cooling, electrical insulation, and reliable transformer operation.
The Magnetic Oil Level Gauge works through a float and magnetic indication mechanism. As the transformer oil level rises or falls, the internal float moves accordingly and transfers this movement to the external indicator dial. This provides a clear visual indication of the oil level without requiring direct mechanical linkage through the conservator wall.
